     It was a spotty turnout at the Norton Special Town Meeting at the Norton Middle School auditorium this evening and the first article being discussed was the available funds of sum of money to pay unpaid bills for which obligation in prior fiscal years of $980 from the account No 001-151-570 and it was passed by an unanimous vote and in Article 2 on the salary ranges for the employees who fall under the personal-by-law issue which is passed by unanimous vote and Article 3 on the raise and appropriate funds and sum of money is passed by unanimous vote  and Article 4 approving of the TIF plan and agreement between the town, OmniLife Science and Norton Commerce Center helping the sewer system and bringing jobs to the economy and Dave LaSalle from OmniLife Science spoke on the mike will relocate to 40 Commerce way in Norton at the Commerce Center from it’s current headquarters in East Taunton, MA with 70 full-time permanent jobs moving to Norton with 15 additional jobs added at he Norton facility and Article 4 passed by majority vote and Article 5 approving a tax increment financing, 11 year TIF to Penske Truck Leasing in it’s move to the Commerce Center and Article 5 passed unanimously and Article 6 on purchasing and acquisition of the land near the Erickson property on Bay Road to preserve land for recreational services and Article 6 passed by unanimous vote.
