NORTON LANCERS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL UPDATE

            NORTON- The Norton Lancers boys freshman after leading 14 to 12 at halftime, sputtered to the Westwood Wolverines defense and couldn’t buy the breaks as the Westwood Wolverines took over early on into 3rd quarter and carried that momentum in the 4th quarter as the Lancers freshmen squad fall to the Westwood Wolverines, 41 to 22 at the Larocque Gymnasium at the Norton High School

         NORTON- The Norton lancers JV squad, after leading the Westwood Wolverines 15 to 6 in the 1st quarter, got blown away in the 2nd quarter scoring only 7 points in the 2nd quarter as the Wolverines of Westwood put together a 25 point performance in the 2nd quarter to take a 31-22 halftime lead and the Lancers hung in there in 3rd quarter and in the 4th quarter with 11 seconds left had a chance to either tie and win the game trailing 48-46, but they turned the ball over and Westwood sealed the victory with a bucket at the buzzer as the Westwood Wolverines defeat the Norton Lancers JV squad 50 to 46 at the Larocque gymnasium.
