NORTON HIGH SCHOOL RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY AND OPEN HOUSE UPDATE

     Today was a banner day at Norton High School as Norton residents gathered at the high school to attend the Norton High School ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon and it began with a speech by Kevin O’Neill, who is in charge of the building committee that put together the renovations of Norton High School and also talks from Superintendent Joseph Baeta who handed out Silver Platters who was responsible for putting together the plans for the renovation of the High School and also there was the former Norton High School Principal Raymond Dewar and Former Norton Superintendent Dr. Patricia Ansay who spoke from the podium along with current Norton High principal Megan Lafayette along with State Senator Representatives Steven Howitt, Jay Barrows and James Timilty and also participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony including myself and I got the ribbon as a gift and I was lucky and before the tours of the High School got under way a fire alarm went off and the culprit was a stray purple balloon that got into the fire alarm system and after that the tours got underway and everyone got a look of the New Norton High School renovation and myself it is a beautiful building and it is a wonderful school and the classrooms were beautiful and it was high tech and it was an awesome tour of the beautiful High School and everyone including me had an awesome time at the Norton High School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House and everyone including me brought their Norton pride with them.
