Community Corner

Thanks to All Involved with Spring Egg Hunt

Letter to the editor from Sheri Cohen.

On behalf of the Norton Parks and Recreation Department, we would like to thank the community for coming out and enjoying a fun family day this past Saturday at our Annual Spring Egg Hunt.  As always, many children participated in this year’s Egg Hunt and gleefully collected over 3,000 eggs!

We would also like to thank BettyLou Parker for her continued commitment to this event.  In addition, we would like to thank our sponsors:  Norton Lion’s Club, B&B Landscaping, Norton Mom’s Club, Honey Dew Donuts, and The Produce Barn.  A very special thank you goes out to Donnamarie Hermann and her Girl Scout Troup for stuffing all of the Easter eggs with candy, Bob Condon for sharing his farm animals for the children to enjoy and also the Norton Fire Department for bringing one of their ambulances.  To all the other volunteers that helped that day – THANK YOU!  We could not have this event without all of your help.
