POLL: Should All Norton Schools Adopt 'Perfect Weather Day' Policy?

No inclement weather cancellations translates to day off in spring at New Testament.

Classrooms at will be empty May 3 due to the weather...good weather, that is.

According to the school's handbook for students and parents, "In the event that there are no school days canceled for inclement weather (i.e. snow days), the administration reserves the right to cancel classes for one day in the spring due to “perfect weather”.

Two to three days advanced notice were given prior to the declaration of an official “Perfect Weather Day."  Families were encouraged to use this day off to participate in service projects together.

“Planting flowers sure beats shoveling snow on a day off,” said one staff member.
