Obituary: Kaisha Guerrini
Visitation and funeral to take place Friday, Sept. 28 at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Kaisha Lynn Guerrini, 24, of N. Washington Street, N. Attleboro, formerly of Norton, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 152 – N. Main Street in Attleboro after her vehicle was struck by an alleged drunk driver earlier that evening.
Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 27, 1988, she was the daughter of James E. Guerrini of Attleboro and Tina M. (Carroll) Guerrini of Norton.
Ms. Guerrini was a 2006 graduate of Norton High School where she was a member of the cheerleading team and was most recently attending Bristol Community College where she was a dean’s list student.
For the past six years, Ms. Guerrini was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard.
Recently, she returned to employment with Sears at the Emerald Square Mall in N. Attleboro as a loss prevention specialist.
She resided in N. Attleboro for the past two years and was a former lifelong resident of Norton.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her 3-year old son Jordan T. Moore and his father Justin Moore, both of Norton; her two brothers Ethan J. Guerrini, 13, and Brandon J. Guerrini, 7, both of Norton; her maternal grandparents Raymond L. and Susan C. (Dean) Carroll of Norton; her paternal grandfather Edward Guerrini of Foxborough; her boyfriend Frank Governo with whom she resided in N. Attleboro; and her several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. She was predeceased by her late grandmother Susan Guerrini.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation with Military Honors Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 from 4 to 6:45 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., Village of Attleboro Falls, N. Attleboro. The funeral will immediately follow with Reverend Kelly K. Thibeault, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Old Post Road, N. Attleboro.
Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at 508-695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation.
Burial will be private.
Children’s room available during visitation and the funeral.
Following funeral services on Friday, an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, refreshments and remembrance at a location to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any branch of Bristol County Savings Bank to make a donation to the Kaisha Lynn Guerrini Memorial Fund to benefit her son’s future educational needs.
