Obituary: Genevieve N. (Cataldo) Luongo

Genevieve N. (Cataldo) Luongo, 95, of Abington, formerly of Boston, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was the wife of the late Louis A. Luongo. Born and raised in Boston, she was  daughter of the late Amato and Nunzia (Rizzo) Cataldo.

Genevieve was a graduate of Boston Trade School and for many years had been employed as a dressmaker at Marions Dress Shop in Boston.

Her life was centered around her family, whether it was spending time with them or creating and sewing outfits for them.

Genevieve is survived by her daughter Nancy Pucillo and her husband Louis of Abington; her two grandchildren Judith Lizio and her husband Peter of Norton and Sandra Gravel-Pucillo and her partner Dana of Jericho, Vt.; her five great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandsons; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Louis Cataldo, Phyllis Spinali, Camille Colarusso and Marie and Anthony Cataldo.

Visitation was held in the Conley Funeral Home. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
