Norton Wrestlers Sweep Quad at Oliver Ames

The Lancers knew that they would face tough competition at today's quad at Oliver Ames but rose to the occasion and swept all three meets with wins over Weston (51-9), Sabis (53-12), and Oliver Ames (54-26).  Robbie Douglas, Aidan Kahn, Ahrayah Saintius, JT Taylor, Myles McAlpine, Elliott Johnson, Mike Travers and Adam Marcon all went 3-0 on the day with Taylor getting all three of his
wins by pin.  JT is now 20-2 this season with 19 pins!  Yet the most impressive performances were put in by Kahn who defeated the #4 and #6-ranked D-3 wrestlers at his weight class in the state and Saintius who knocked off the #1 ranked wrestler at his weight.  In addition Elliott Johnson beat the #3 man at
his weight.  It was a day filled with upsets by the high-spirited Lancers.

Norton is now 14-1 for the season and will travel to Holliston on Wednesday to
face the defending Tri-Valley League champion Panthers.
