NHS Track teams have great showing in TVL Championship meet

Hurdler Kassidy Campbell remained undefeated in the 55 hurdles this wknd at the TVL meet. She was the lone first place finisher for Norton Girls but got support from teammates Shannon O'Rourke and Kylie Barrows who took second and fourth respectively in the shot Put.  Anya DiLorenzo too the third place overall in the 1000m running 3:14.96 and broke her own school record. The girls team finished the best ever in their history scoring 32 pts for third place.  Hopkinton won the meet.

The boys team finished second overall for the day but still remain the league champion and undefeated for the season.  Mike Tierney placed first in the 600m -1:25.5, In the Freshman mile Joey Annand won for the league in 5:09.8 and Jordan Lach finished 5th in 5:19; two great performances!
Cam Stalters and Brandon Durocher finished second and third in the 55 high hurdles,  Freshmen and Sophomores Andrew Rineri, Sean Cappilini, Parker Cleathero and Colin O'Leary ran great finishing 2nd in the 4 x 200 relay.  Kevin O'Leary took third in both the high jump and Shot Put, Billy Sullivan 4th in the mile breaking the school record (4:32.6), Justin Ireland 3rd in the 55m, Adam Winiarz 4th in the 300m, Max Marcotte and Chris Wrenn took 2nd and 5th in the 1000m, Durocher 5th in high jump and the 4 x 400 team of Marcotte, Tierney, Sullivan and Wrenn took 2nd in the 4 x 400 relay.
Medfield won the day with 77 pts, Norton 71 pts, Bellingham 46, Hopkinton 35, Holliston 16, Westwood 16, Medway 14, Ashland 12, Millis 12, and Dover Sherborn 12.
