NHS Girls and Boys Track Team with big wins
The boys record is now 3-0 and the Girls 2-1 after track meets at their home site of the Indoor track at Wheaton College. They both defeated Bellingham on Saturday. Max Marcotte won the mile in 4:44 and the 1000 2:57, Billy Sullivan won the 2 mile in 10:29, Cam Stalters won the 55 high hurdles in 8.3, Brandon Durocher and Mike Tierney tied winning the high jump at 5'8" and the
4 x400 team of Durocher, Sean Cappelini, Nate Diorio and Parker Cleathero won in 3:50. Last week they beat Medfield and Medway in a big way. Justin Ireland had double wins in the 55 and 300 , Mike Tierney 600 and High Jump and Cam Stalters 55 hurdles. The Lancers had many second and third places in all three meets showing their depth.
Norton Girls wins against Bellingham and Medway were led by Kassidy Campbell in the 55 hurdles 9.1 and 600 1:47,Allison Dufault in the 300m 47.9,Danielle Whitman the high jump 5'1". Also Shannon O'Rourke won the Shot put, Anya DiLorenzo won the 1000 and Melanie Morris the 2 mile. Depth again backed up several second and third places.
Their next meet is Wed. Dec 18 at the Wheaton College Track at 3:30pm
