This year's parade was held on Monday.

Norton held its annual Veteran's Day Parade Monday morning.

The event, which began at Yelle Elementary School, made its way to the Pine St. "triangle" then back to Norton common. At each stop, a ceremony ensued.

Ed Brault helped organize the event. Music was provided by the Apponequet High School Marching Band of Lakeville, and WWII vet Henry Ruest was honored as the parade Marshall.

Speakers included Norton Town Administrator Michael Yunits and selectmen chair Robert Kimball. Prayers were conducted by Rev. Marc Tremblay and Rev. Bernard Hinckley. Resident Sam Arena was also thanked for his donation of the World War II cannon at the triangle.
