Norton Resident Asks for Help with 'Journey Forward'

A Norton resident has taken to GoFundMe.com to ask for help with his an intense exercise program he began after suffering from a spinal chord injury in 2010.

Resident Matt Kinsbury writes:

Matt Kingsbury suffered a C5 C6 Spinal Cord Injury in January of 2010. He is starting an intense exercise program at Journey Forward in Canton, MA. The exercise program is geared towards people with spinal cord injuries and the results of this program are just unbelievable. However, this program is not covered by insurance and costs $100/hour. Matt is hoping to continue to get the support of his community so he can continue attending Journey Forward and continue his own Journey to recovery. Matt wants to thank all of those who have donated in the past because without those donations he would not be able to start this program. Please visit www.Journey-Forward.org and read what some of the clients have to say about the program and the incredible results they have seen since starting at Journey Forward.

Unlike other crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter, GoFundMe focuses more on helping people fund very personal goals. So in addition to traditional charitable causes, you may find someone who is asking for help financing a car payment or paying for a honeymoon.
