How to Dispose of Yard Waste in Norton

You've raked your leaves and put them into paper bags. Now what do you do?

There is no curbside in Norton but here is what the Town of Norton suggests:

"Yard waste can be dropped off at the HILL ST. LANDFILL ON THE 2ND & 4TH Saturday, 8:30 – 11:30 am April thru June, Oct. and Nov.. the cost is $2.00 pick up trucks, $10.00 commercial vehicles, cars- no charge. Prices based on one visit per day. This drop off is for GRASS AND LEAVES ONLY, NO BRUSH."

Residents also have a couple of other options:

1. Compost your leaves. Composting is relatively easy and takes less space than you think. Composting is environmentally beneficial because it provides nutrients for your garden and is economical.
