3. "Christmas in July" will be celebrated by the Brockton Rox tonight in their 7:05 p.m. game against Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Patrons who bring a new and unwrapped gift for a child aged between newborn and 13 will receive free admission game. You will also get free admission if you wear an ugly Christmas sweater. Norton's Sean Ryan is an all-star outfielder for the Rox, while A.J. Bradshaw in a reliever. NHS head baseball and football coach Ted Currie is the assistant head coach.

4. The Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their Buy Local - Back to School campaign. Kids ages 10 to 17 are asked to submit their favorite summer memories. Winners will receive a back to school package. Keep an eye out for more information on Norton Patch.
