2014 Summer Youth Volunteer Program Details
Join the 2014 team of youth volunteers at the Norton Public Library! You'll get to help with the Summer Library Program registration, prizes, and events. All participants will be expected to commit to at least 10 hours of community service over the summer, and all volunteers will be eligible to win exclusive prizes!

Please read the following details carefully:
ALL previous or new YOUTH (6th-12th graders as of Fall 2014) volunteers must attend only ONE of the three trainings offered on June 23, 24, and 26.  Those who wish to proceed as a summer volunteer must pass a test at the end of the training, with a score of 80 or higher, to be admitted into the summer team for 2014. Students who pass the test will be invited back for a scheduling and T-shirt making day on Friday, June 27 at 11:00am.

Please only register for one training, as the space is limited.  Sign up in the library for the training of your choice. Trainings will last 1½ to 2 hours depending on questions and group size.

Students who attend MUST be on time and MUST stay for the entire session. Late arrivals will be turned away.  Arrive early to ensure you're a part of the group.

If you have any questions, students may contact the Youth Services Librarian, Leslianne Costello, at lcostello@sailsinc.org

Thank you for your interest in this program... it's going to be a great summer!!
