Vacation Week: Winter Survival Adaptations at Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary

Join staff at Oak Knoll as we learn how animals make it through our cold New England winters. From frozen frogs to scurrying squirrels we'll discover what adaptations local animals use to survive. We'll identify ways that we can be warm and safe when exploring the winter's cold. Activities include hiking or snowshoeing, games and activities as well as learning how to build a shelter.
