Peter H. Christensen will speak about the role of German influences in the First National Movement of art, architecture and urban planning in Turkey after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Christensen is a  Ph.D. Candidate in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Harvard University and currently Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Technische Universitat Munich.
