10-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL

Where/When: Wheaton College, 26 E. Main St, Norton, Kresge Experimental Theatre, Watson Fine Arts/ Friday, April 1, 7:30 p.m.

What it is: An evening showcase of dramatic vignettes written, directed and performed by Wheaton students.

“MAN OF LA MANCHA”

Where/When: Mansfield Music and Arts Society, Black Box Theater, 377 N. Main St, Mansfield; April 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9. Performances are Friday, Saturday and Thursday at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees 2 p.m.

Why Go: This Tony Award Winning Musical stars the MMAS executive director, Ken Butler as Cervantes - Don Quixote. The theater is very intimate. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly suggested. For more information call 508-339-2822

Pricing: $22 general admission, $20 seniors, $18 students.

 

EASTER EGG HUNT

Where/When: Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, 37 Eddy St, Norton/Weekly on Saturdays and Sundays through April, noon to 3 p.m.

Why Go: This event is a favorite with children and parents alike and continues to grow each year. The sanctuary offers a relaxed, non-competitive hunt that allows children to explore the Nature Trail to find those colorful, treat-filled eggs. While on the path be sure to keep an eye open for Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary's seasonal animal guest: the Easter Bunny. After the hunt, children will tour the entire sanctuary, play on the playground and interact with the over 200 animals that call Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary home.

Home & Garden Show

Where/When: Holiday Inn, 31 Hampshire St., Mansfield, Sunday, April 3, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What it is: The Home & Garden Show is organized by the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce and is designed to help local tradesmen get in front of local home owners and home buyers.  Exhibitors include: appliance stores, builders, banks, flooring, home decorators, home security, paving, movers, lawyers, plumbers, etc. 

Pricing: $3

 

KARAOKE

Where/When:, 184 W. Main St., Norton, Sundays, 8 p.m.

What it is: Karl Bock hosts karaoke Sundays and Thursdays. For more information visit Trinity's website.
