Slightly Bent at Trinity

Genealogy Lecture: Kilroy was Here!

Where/When: Irish Cultural Centre of New England, 200 New Boston Drive, Canton/8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at 8pm

Why Go: This event is a genealogy case of a WWII phenomenon. Call 781-821-8291 to purchase tickets.

Pricing: $10 for ICC members/$15 general admission

 

Antiques Appraisal

Where/When: Fiske Public Library/Saturday, March 5, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Paul Royka, from "The Antiques Road Show," will be coming to the Fiske Library to appraise antiques. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Those organizing the event have asked people not to bring firearms, coins or jewelry. No sign up is required; simply take a number when you arrive.

Pricing: $10 per item, with three items for $25.

 

Stony Brook Presents: Science and Cooking

Where/When: Stony Brook, 108 North St., Norfolk/Saturday, March 5, 1 to 3 p.m.

Why Go: The Stony Brook Sanctuary invites people to explore the various states of matter and the science of cooking. For ages 4 and older. Pre-registration is required. Those interested can visit www.massaudubon.org or call 508-528-3140.

Pricing: $10 for members, $13 for non-members.
