NEW STUDENTS WANTED: Building a Yoga Community

YOGA is the union between body, mind, and spirit.  Kripalu Yoga is a conscious practice of physical yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques for integrating body, mind, and spirit. YOGA is the perfect anti-dote for the effects of multitasking.

Welcome to a diverse community of people, some who are curious about yoga and just beginning their journey, and those that love yoga and find that it helps us to be happier, healthier, less stressed, and more able to be present for our families and friends.  Everyone is encouraged to accept what is just as they are on their own personal journey towards greater non-judgemental self-awareness.

Classes begin with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation.  Lisa Cohen is a full-time Yoga Teacher, certified from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Mass.  Lisa has a special interest in working with diverse populations, guiding the yoga experience for people that might not think of themselves as "traditional yogic practitioners" as well as in corporate settings.  By offering a gradient approach to the practice, new students can comfortably and safely practice side-by-side with seasoned practitioners.

Be a part of something new.  Regular classes are now offered at 41 Pleasant Street, Norton (adjacent to Planet Fitness).  Yoga is truly for EVERY BODY.  More information is available at www.LisaCohenYoga.com.
