Bristol County Savings Bank Appoints Denise Murphy Vice President - Government Finance
TAUNTON, MA, July 8, 2013 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) has named 20-year municipal finance veteran, Denise Murphy, to the position of Vice President – Government Finance.
As Vice President – Government Finance, Murphy is responsible for delivering personalized banking service and state-of-the-art banking technology to the Bank’s local municipal customers. Prior to her appointment, Murphy served as Vice President – Government Banking for UniBank for Savings in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. Previously she held the positions of Treasurer/Collector for the Town of Hopedale in Massachusetts and Assistant Treasurer for the Town of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Murphy is a member of the Massachusetts Collectors and Treasurers Association and the Bristol County Treasurers & Collectors Association. She has also been active in the local community throughout her career and presently holds the position of Treasurer at Faith Alliance Church in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Murphy resides in Norton, Massachusetts.
