Norton Reservoir is a recreational gem in your backyard. Whether you like fishing, kayaking or simply gazing at the wildlife, the 530-acre body of water is the perfect destination for summer fun.

Don't own a kayak? Rent one from and take a tour of the reservoir with local experts. 

May, June and October
Youth 12-17 years: $50 per paddler
Adult: $55 per paddler
Seniors: $45 per paddler

July, August and September
Youth 12-17 years: $55 per paddler
Adult: $60 per paddler
Seniors: $45 per paddler

Father's Day Weekend Tours
June 16 and 17, at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Full Moon Tours
June 4 and 5, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
July 2, 3 and 4, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Aug. 1, 2, 3, 30 and 31, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Monday Mothers Paddles
Monday, June 11, 9am-noon

After School Teen Paddles
Wednesday, June 6, 3-6 p.m.

Senior Paddles
Friday, June 22, 9am-noon

Rec Department Family Paddles
Sunday, June 24, 5-8 p.m.

Teen Adventure Weeks

Four mornings of learning valuable paddling and water safety skills, island explorations, viewing and photographing wildlife, learning about the environment and practicing angling skills while fishing for largemouth bass and pickerel. This program runs all summer long except the week of July 4. For ages 12 and older. Cost is $140 per paddler.
