New Pizzeria to Open On E. Main St.

The new restaurant is expected to open in 4-6 weeks.

Norton will soon have a new pizza place on 288 E. Main Street.

Mangia Neapolitan Pizzeria will be moving into the vacant storefront in four to six weeks.

The Common Victualler License was unanimously approved by Selectmen Thursday night.

"It's a good location with a lot of traffic," selectman Timothy Giblin said.

Owners Christine and Darren Ayotte said the restaurant will serve Italian food, pizza and calzone sandwiches.

The new restaurant will replace a former Mangia Pizzeria, which shut its doors earlier this year. There are currently Mangia Pizzerias in Canton and Sharon, among other places.

"We wish you well," Selectmen chair Robert Kimball said. "It will be nice to have something back there.
