Job: Assistant lacrosse coach
Location: Wheaton College
Job description: The assistant coach will work with the head coach in helping to teach the skills necessary for a successful athletics program. The successful candidate will assist in organizing and conducting individual student-athlete workouts, team practices, opposing team scouts and game day preparations. The assistant coach will assist in the evaluation and recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes, preparation and management of the team operating budget and help to develop a team recruitment plan that will include travel, mailings and budget maintenance. It is imperative that the assistant coach comply with all NCAA, NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations and help to ensure all student-athletes do the same. Travel locally, regionally and nationally to find prospective student-athletes. Be able to transport teams by van as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and collegiate coaching and or playing experience required. Individuals must possess the skills and abilities or be able to teach and demonstrate all aspects of the sport of lacrosse. The successful candidate will perform all other essential functions of the job, with or without accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Current and valid driver’s license required and successful completion and maintain Wheaton’s College Van License A.
Location: Commercial, Industrial and residential areas in Norton
Job description: This full time job pays $21 to $25 per hour. The job starts immediately.
Qualifications: License required. Knowledge in all three phases needed. Requirements for the job include having transportation, tools, passing a drug test. Must have clean appearance and be a team player. Must pass a background check. Must have hardhat, safety glasses and work boots.
