Get Out and Buy Local June 23

Saturday, June 23 is the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce's Buy Local Saturday, part of their summer long Buy Local program.

“This Saturday we’re encouraging shoppers to Buy Local and show it by taking a picture with the 2012 Tri-Town Chamber Member sticker and posting it on the Tri-Town Chamber Facebook Page,” said Kara Griffin, executive director for the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.

The person with the most pictures posted on Facebook by 6 p.m. on Saturday will win a Chamber Buy Local gift certificate.

“We’ve gotten such a great response from the residents and the businesses in Mansfield, Foxboro and Norton,” said Jen Vondenbrink, Tri-TownChamber social media specialist.  “For the last two weeks I’ve been talking to local businesses about Buy Local. Everyone has been enthusiastic about the program.”
