NORTON PARKS & RECREATION: Events and Programs Round-Up (11.20.2013)

Norton’s “Festival of Lights”
When: Sunday, December 1

Time: 5:00PM

Where: Norton Town Common

Cost: Free

Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, a countdown to light the common, music (including performances by the Norton Singers and Timmy Brown) and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus’ arrival in style – on a Norton Fire Department fire truck!  Kids will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa (bring your own camera or pay $3 to have one taken by Cheryl Orsi Photography and mailed to you) as well as write a letter to Santa that he will answer (for a small donation).  Hope to see you at this fun, community event!

Middle School Wrestling
When: Wednesdays, 12/18/13 – 02/05/14 (except 12/25 and 1/1)

Time: 3:30-5:30PM

Where: Norton High School Wrestling Room

Age: Students in grades 6-8

Cost: $25 (checks may be made payable to “Friends of Norton Wrestling” and mailed with the completed registration/consent form - see below - to: Town of Norton, Parks & Recreation Department, 70 East Main St, Norton, MA 02766)
