Local Students Win National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Bishop Feehan High School announced the recipients of the 2012 annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.  

The National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are administered by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, Inc. All Massachusetts teachers teaching in one of the art mediums or writing categories may submit individual art or writing works by students in grades 7 through 12. Individual works and portfolios are judged on the state level with selected Gold Key winners continuing on to national judging.  

Feehan students received 13 Gold Keys, 16 Silver Keys and 25 honorable mentions. Artwork will be displayed at the State Transportation Building Gallery in Boston through April 20.
