Wounded Norton High Graduate Returns to Marshfield Home

Norton High graduate Breinne Travers Sullivan returned to her family and her Marshfield home Saturday for the first time in three years after being wounded in Afghanistan in August of 2010, according to a report in the Boston Herald.
The National Guard sergeant and squad leader was driving in a convoy when it was attacked. The Purple Heart recipient lost an eye and suffered head trauma. She had been recovering at Walter Reed Hospital and was escorted to her Marshfield home by friends, police cruisers and back for first visit back in three years.
“You are here to make sure these guys get home,” she said in the Boston Herald article. “If that means you’re taking an RPG to the head and what not, if they don’t have to, I would do it again tomorrow, all over again tomorrow.”
