Hurricane Sandy Town Closing Updates: Town Meeting Postponed

Norton Public Schools closed Monday, Oct. 29.

Due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, many municipal and commercial buildings in Norton will be closing up shop. 

Here is a list of what's closed, cancelled and other important information for Monday. Know of any other openings or closings? Leave a comment below.

Town Meeting- Postponed for 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1
Mega Business Expo- Originally scheduled for Oct. 30, this event has been postponed to Nov. 14, 3 to 7 p.m.
Trunk or Treat: Originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 31 at New Testament Christian School, this event has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Town Hall- Will close at noon Monday.
Attleboro District Court- Will close at noon today and reopen at noon tomorrow.
MBTA- Will shut down at 2 p.m.

Really appreciate the updates - especially the out of gas ones - filled up today but depending on the longevity of this "thing" will probably need more at some point. John Francis

6:00pm Sunday: Hess has gas again, all three grades, but there are lines.

My brother was out on the east cost during the hurricane. He was just really lucky that it didn't hit the city he was in, but it did a number on the next city over. He ended up going over to the other city to help with the clean-up efforts. Jason|http://www.a1signs.com/about.htm
