2. The Norton Public Library will be holding a Star Wars Symposium, Saturday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m.

3. The Norton High wrestling team will be taking part in the Marshfield Tournament today.

4. With last night's Norton Board of Selectmen's meeting canceled, they will next be meeting Thursday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at town hall.

5. The Children's Museum in Easton is having Family New Year's Eve Parties 2012, Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be magic shows, 11 a.m., noon, 2 and 3 p.m., confetti blast countdowns at 1 and 4 p.m., balloon artist and face painting for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pizza and drinks will be available. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for members.
