Feline Fridays' Friend of the Week: Junk [VIDEO]

This week's cat up for adoption.

Every week, Feline Fridays will feature a special cat or kitten from cat shelter who needs a home. This week the video features Junk.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Nine Lives of Norton Feline Rescue Shelter. They started out as a small organization with approximately 10 volunteers and sheltered what few cats they had in a barn on Oak Street in Norton. This year they will be celebrating in their very own building with their furry friends March 17, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an ice cream social and bake sale.

Donations will be accepted to help pay for the ice cream and supplies.

Nine Lives is a non-profit, all volunteer shelter who care for the homeless cats of Norton.  Each Saturday they are open to the public hoping to find forever loving homes for these animals.

"We wish to thank all those friends of Nine Lives who have volunteered or still volunteer with us, those who have donated money or much needed supplies to us, and those who have supported us during our fundraisers," said Jean Harnden of Nine Lives in a press release.  "We are looking forward to seeing you at our anniversary."
