1. The Norton Fall Town Meeting will be held Oct. 7 at the Norton Middle School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Warrant articles will be accepted until Aug. 19, at 3:30 p.m. in the selectmen's office.
2. The Norton Public Library will be presenting 'Digging Up Dinosaurs & Fossils," Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 10:30 a.m. for kids ages five-12, where kids can get a hands on look at the wonders of prehistoric past. No registrations are needed.
3. The Deutsche Bank Championship is looking for volunteers to work during the tournament at TPC-Boston in Norton. You can sign up for the tournament by visiting their website at www.dbcchampionship.com or call them at 508-285-8333.
4. Norton selectmen are looking to fill a vacancy on the Norton Housing Authority. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to the selectmen prior to Aug. 30. The appointment would only be effective until the town election in April 2014.
