1. High near 74, low around 48
There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy through mid morning, then will gradually clear, with a high near 74. Northwest wind will be 7 to 9 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 48. North wind will be around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

2. Flea market at Norton Public Library
The Friends of Norton Public Library are sponsoring a flea market to be held outside the library 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The rain date is Sept. 22. For more information call 508-285-2315.

3. Recycled shoe drive
Norton Parks and Recreation is holding a recycle shoe drive at NYS picture day outside the Norton Middle School cafeteria. Write a note on the sole of old shoes, drop them in the designated boxes and allow them to travel the globe until they find a new owner in need. A box will also be kept at Town Hall in the Parks and Recreation Department.

4. Open house at Personal Best Karate
Personal Best Karate will host an open house Saturday, Sept. 15 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be raffles, specials, trial classes and board breaking. For more information visit www.pbopenhouse.com.

5. Yard sale
There will be a yard sale at 40 Prospect St., Foxborough 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will continue during the same hours Sunday. It will include antiques, jewelry, collectibles, books, furniture, tools, oil paintings and more.
