1. Best of Norton Tailgate Party
From 1 to 2:30 p.m. the Norton High School Football Boosters--1st and Ten will host the third annual Best of Norton Tailgate Party prior to the football game at 2:30 p.m. versus Dover-Sherborn. Attendees will vote on the best appetizer, pizza, sandwich, main course and dessert.

2. Comedy by Gary Petersen
Comedy Night headlined by Gary Petersen will be held at McMahon’s Countryside Grille 8 p.m. to midnight. Four other comics will also set out to make you laugh. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. This is an 18+ event.

3. American Cancer Society fundraiser and trick-or-treating
American Cancer Society is holding a fun-raiser at Fanautical at Patriot Place. Stop by 219 Patriot Place at 5 p.m. and see what it is “a’bow’t.” 10 percent of all apparel and other merchandise sales will be donated back to the American Cancer Society. You can also shop on-line at befanautical.com and write ACS in the comment line. Trick-or-treating is also available at Patriot Place.

5. High near 67, low around 50
Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind will become east around 6 mph in the afternoon. There is a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Light northeast wind will increase to 5 to 9 mph in the evening.
