1. Bid for Celtics tickets
Team Lia is holding a silent auction for two tickets to the Celtics and Toronto Raptors game 12:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 17. Bidding will end 5 p.m. Oct. 26. Email bids to Teamliainfo@cox.net. The highest bidder will win. Proceeds will be donated to the Lia Scagnoli Fund at North Easton Savings Bank.

2. Taste of the Region
Sample the variety of delicacies offered from around the region at The United Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual Taste of the Region event 6 to 9 p.m. at Tri-County Regional Vocational High School, 147 Pond St., Franklin. This food festival features an eclectic mix of restaurants serving a variety of dishes. Enjoy music and bid on items in a silent auction. Tickets cost $15 at the door. 3. Using Special Needs Trusts: Protecting the Future Financial Security of a Family Member with Special Needs
Robert Deschene of Deschene Law Office in North Attleborough will participate in National Special Needs Law Month this October by offering a free educational forum 7 to 8:30 p.m.  at Fisher College, Elm Street, North Attleborough on protecting the future financial security of a family member with special needs. Attendees receive a free DLO special needs planning brochure.

4. Reiki “I Can Cope” program
Signature Healthcare Radiation Therapy, 680 Centre St., Brockton, will host a certified Reiki specialist who will work with cancer patients. This program runs 3 to 5 p.m.

5. High near 65, low around 47
There will be increasing clouds, with a high near 65. Northwest wind will be 3 to 7 mph. Tonight there is a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 8 p.m. It will be cloudy, with a low around 47 and calm wind.
