1. Manga workshop, Friends of the Library meeting
Norton Public Library will hold a Japanese manga workshop with Andy and Veronica Fish 4 p.m. in the community room. Get an in depth look at the history of manga and it's relation to American comics, followed by a hands on workshop offering techniques and tricks as well as advanced storytelling in a manga style. This workshop is for ages 11 to adult.

Friends of the Norton Public Library meet the first Tuesday of each month 6:30 to 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

2. Ten Things You Don’t have to Believe to be a Christian
Over a period of five weeks, instructors Rev. Abigail A. Henrich and Rev. Jon Paul Sydnor, Phd. will examine 10 things many assume you must believe in order to be within the bounds of hte Christian faith. This program will take place 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walpole Public Library, 143 School St., Walpole. This event is for ages 16 and older. Next classes will be Oct. 9, 16 and 23. 3. Dollar specials at Hot Dogs & More
Hot Dogs & More will be serving $1 hot dogs on Mondays from now on. On Tuesdays they will be selling $1 grilled cheese sandwiches.
