1. Norton Track Boosters 5K Road Race
The third annual Norton Track Boosters 5K Road Race/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run will begin 10:15 a.m. at J.C. Solmonese Elementary School. The course is open to all runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Registration is $25 and can be done online. Checks can be made payable to Norton High School Track and Field Boosters, and mailed to Norton High School XC & Track and Field 5K c/o Joanne D’Onofrio, 3 Hadley Road, Norton, MA 02766. 2. Full-body workout for breast cancer patients and survivors
At 4:30 p.m. every third Saturday of the month, Mind Body Barre Fitness and Healing Studio will offer a full-body workout tailored to the needs of breast cancer patients and survivors. The classes, normally $20 a person, are free for breast cancer patients and survivors. All are welcome. All proceeds will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Children's Hospital Boston is taking part in the launch of the first-ever crowdfunded hospital gift catalog –www.GiveMiracles.org – as part of a national campaign led by the world’s largest crowdfunding-for-good platform, Fundly, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
