5 Things Jan. 29: Bad Movie Matinee, Trivia and More

1. Bad movie matinee and writer’s group meeting
Today’s Norton Public Library Bad Movie Matinee program presents, “Troll 2.” This movie was voted upon by those in grades 5 through 12. The movie starts 2:30 p.m. in the community room. Popcorn will be provided. At 6 p.m., a writer’s group will meet to share feedback and discuss the joys and challenges of writing. All writers are welcome. For more information call 508-286-2695

2. Trivia Tyme
Every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Trinity Bar & Restaurant hosts Trivia Tyme. Teams of up to six can compete for prizes of cash and gift certificates. Check out Trinity's website for more information.

3. Breathing club
Sturdy Memorial Hospital will hold a Breathing Club meeting 1 to 3 p.m. in the hospital auditorium. The groups is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Respiratory Care Department at 508-236-7550.

5. High near 42, low around 36
Today there is a 20 percent chance of freezing rain before 9 a.m., then a slight chance of rain showers between 9 a.m. and noon. Otherwise, it will be cloudy, with a high near 42. Light and variable wind will become north 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind will become south around 5 mph after midnight. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
