1. Pi Alley
Pi Alley will perform 9:30 p.m. to close at Trinity Bar & Restaurant. There is no cover.

2. Bingo
Bingo is held every Friday night at St. Mary's Church. Doors open at the Parish Center 4:30 p.m., bingo begins 6:30 p.m.

3. Super singles dance
A single’s dance will be held 8 p.m. to midnight at Warwick Crowne Plaza, 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, R.I. Dance lessons available 7:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is $12. There will be music all night long, door prizes and a cash bar. This event is best for singles approximately 35 to 65 year olds. Couples are welcome too. Proper business casual attire suggested. 4. Patrick files $34.8 billion budget proposal
Governor Deval Patrick filed his fiscal year 2014 budget recommendation, plan meant to grow jobs and opportunity by continuing the Governor's commitment to investing in education, innovation and infrastructure. The FY14 budget also proposes a series of reforms to achieve savings, improve performance and increase transparency in state government.

The Governor’s FY14 budget recommendation proposes state spending of $34.8 billion, a 6.9 percent increase from FY13. This rate of growth is consistent with pre-recession budgets.

5. High near 24, low around 15
Today there will be increasing clouds, with a high near 24. Wind chill values will be as low as -12. West wind will be 5 to 8 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight there is a 70 percent chance of snow, mainly between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. Otherwise, it will be cloudy, with a low around 15. Calm wind will become north around 5 mph after midnight.
