1. Friends of Norton Library Chateau Fundraiser
The Chateau Restaurant of Norton is holding a Friends of the Library fundraiser 11:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bring the attached fundraiser ticket and enjoy dinner or order take-out. When you use the ticket, The Chateau will contribute 20 percent of the total bill to Norton Public Library.

2. Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers meetings are held at Epoch held every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and new members are being sought. The meeting is an "at work" format and about four more people are needed in order to meet the minimum. The cost is $39.95 per month. 3. “Winter’s Wind” movie showing
“Winter’s Wind” will be shown 7 and 9 p.m. at Showcase Cinema, 24 Patriot Place, Foxborough. “Winter’s Wild” is the story of one man’s journey from protege to mentor and legend, played by the real legends of big mountain skiing - past, present and future. Shot on 16mm film and HD video, this is a feature-length ski action epic. Matt Herriger, writer, director and cinematographer, originally from Duxbur, has presented this movie at film festivals in Telluride and Sun Valley. Tickets are $15 and redeemable for a free Blue Hills Ski Lift ticket (buy1, get1).

4. Top 10 scams of 2012
The Better Business Bureau put together a list of the top 10 scams of 2012. Topping that list are fake Newtown charity scams. To learn more about these scams and others, visit the Better Business Bureau blog.

5. High near 40, low around 35
Today there is a 100 chance of rain. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. There will also be patchy fog and a high near 40. East wind will be 14 to 18 mph. Tonight there is an 80 percent chance of rain and snow with patchy fog. Little or no snow accumulation expected. The low will be around 35. East wind will be 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
