1. It Takes a Community program looking for sponsors
It Takes a Community is Looking for local business sponsors. Donations of raffle and auction items are also being sought. For more information or to donate email ittakesacommunity@comcast.net.

2. Sock Hop Storytime 
Sock Hop Storytime will be held 10:30 a.m. in the community room of Norton Public Library. Donations of socks will be accepted. No registration is required. 

3. Partners and Caregivers of Patients with Cancer Support Group meeting
Sturdy Memorial Hospital holds a Partners and Caregivers of Patients with Cancer Support Group meeting every second Wednesday of the month 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The group is free and open to the public. For more information, call the oncology department at 508-236-7010.

4. South Shore Great Pumpkin Challenge
Students and schools are invited to participate in the South Shore Great Pumpkin Challenge. This educational competition for the whole community is meant to get agriculture back into the classroom and kids back in the dirt. For more information email SSGreatPumpkinChallenge@gmail.com.

5. High near 41, low around 26
Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 41. West wind will be 3 to 7 mph. Tonight there is a 50 percent chance of snow, mainly after 10 p.m. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Calm wind will become north around 5 mph after midnight.
