1. Former Norton High standout Dave Billottee was named as a Cranberry League all-star for his efforts at second base for the Easton Huskies. This year, Easton finished in fourth place to make the playoffs.

The Banjo Ragtimers Summer Concert will be held in the Norton library park tonight at 7 p.m. Jim "Mr. Bango" Haas, Bill Kass and Paul Gookin will be performing on the banjo, sax, clarinet, washboard and drums. Sponsored by the Norton Medical Center, the event is free. In case of rain, it will be held in the library community room.
