1. High near 88, low around 61
Patchy fog is expected before 8 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind will become southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 61. South wind will be around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.

2. Karaoke for all ages
, 336 Old Colony Road, is hosting Kids Karaoke 5 to 8 p.m. and Thirsty Thursday Karaoke at 8 p.m. to midnight. Stop by each week for your time to shine.

3. BCLS and CPR Marathon
Sturdy Memorial Hospital’s Nursing Education Department is currently accepting registrations for a basic cardiac life support and CPR course. All classes are open to the public. This program is 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 3:45 to 6:15 p.m. in the hospital auditorium. The course is designed for those seeking recertification, and a current CPR card must be presented at time of registration. You must be prepared to perform according to current standards. The fee is $50 per person, and includes current learning materials. Pre-registration is required in order to obtain learning materials prior to the class. 4. Junior Duck Stamp Exhibit
For the month of August, the Borderland visitor center at 257 Massapoag Ave., Easton will host the Junior Duck Stamp Exhibit. The display includes works of art done by kids of all ages.  This exhibit will be opened daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information call 508-238-6566 or email info@friendsofborderland.org.

5. Patch Book Club
When you go to a bookstore, you can find "The Teammates" in the sports section, but the book about four Boston Red Sox could very easily be in the relationship aisle. Read Mike Hardman’s take on the book and share your thoughts .
