1. Possibility of showers
Today there is a 50 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Calm wind will be northwest around 5 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Tonight there is a 20 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Calm wind will be northeast 5 to 9 mph.

2. Kids Day at Winslow Farm
Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, located at 37 Eddy St., Norton, will be holding Kids' Day from noon to 3 p.m. Events will include a treasure hunt, bounce house, make your own plant, decorate a rock, craft creations, balloon animals, face painting and more. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children; kids younger than 2 are admitted free. 3. Silk Road and The Heist to perform
Trinity Bar & Restaurant in Norton will bring in the music tonight. Silk Road will play on the patio 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. Then The Heist will kick into full gear indoors from 9:30 p.m. to close. There will be a $3 cover after 9 p.m.

4. Sturdy Memorial offering Hatha Yoga
Registration is open for a six-week Hatha Yoga Course being offered at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. The program is open to the public. This course is designed to help decrease stress and anxiety, increase flexibility and relaxation and enhance your overall feeling of wellness. The course will begin Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 and offered in two sessions at 4 to 5 p.m. or 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. in the Clinical Education Center located in the main lobby. The cost of the program is $65. Pre-registration is necessary. Participants need to bring a yoga mat and/or towel with them to each class. For more information or to register, call 508-236-8850.
