Rae Ann McLanahan Retires After 32 Years as Director and Educator at The Children's Studio Preschool

Some of the former and present educators were among the guests at The Children's Studio Preschool in Norton Friday evening to honor Founder and Director Rae Ann McLanahan who is retiring after 32 years of owning and teaching at the school. Over the course of 32 years, Rae Ann and her staff have had more than 2,000 children pass through her school, many of whom have gone on to great things as young adults. In fact, she now has some of her early students coming back and enrolling their own children in the school. There is an entire community of families in the area who will always fondly remember the wonderful educational start she gave their children. The business has been purchased by Marjorie Pond of the Active Learners Preschool who will continue using the space as a center for early childhood education effective April 1.
