Norton High Track State Finishers

Norton Boys and Girls finished respectively in a Division 4 very  talented field last weekend in Boston.  The boys finished 17th and girls 25th out of 36 teams. Pembroke finished in first place for both the boys and girls teams.
Placements were: Kassidy Campbell 5th in 55 hurdles 9.04
Shannon O'Rourke 8th shot put 31'6.5"
10th Anya DiLorenzo: 1000 Meters - 3:14.00 new school record,
 4th Overall - Kassidy Campbell: 600 Meters - 1:49.74
15th  - Kassidy Campbell: Long Jump - 15'4.25"
18th - Danielle Whitman: High Jump - 5'10" 
22nd- Danielle Whitman, Alison Dufault, Anya DiLorenzo, & Liz Dufault: 4x200 - 1:58.76
26th - Kylie Barrows: Shotput - 27'7.25"
29th - Molly Bieksha: 55 Hurdles - 10.20
31st  - Melanie Morris: 55 Hurdles - 10.59
For the boys team the 4x800 team of Max Marcotte, Billy Sullivan, Mike Tierney & Chris Wrenn  ran a 8:33.30 5th place,
Billy Sullivan  6th overall in a STACKED mile race with a 4:33.83,
Max Marcotte placed 7th 1000 meters with a new SCHOOL RECORD of 2:39.08, Brandon Durocher 7th in the high jump 5'10"

The team is finished for the winter season and looking forward to a great Spring season where they expect to do very well especially given the depth of the team.
