EPOCH of Norton raises $2,959 for Cancer Walk

EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Norton raised $2,959 for the 10th annual Relay for Life Cancer Charity Walk at Mansfield High School. EPOCH formed a walking team, the EPOCH Senior Cancer Kickers, and hosted several fundraisers including a campus-wide yard sale. Staff members, residents, and the public supported the team and helped raise nearly $3,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society’s research, awareness and outreach efforts.

Jessica Shea, Admissions Director of EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Norton and team captain, said, “Through this humbling, emotional experience, we built a much closer bond with one another and the wider community. We grew as individuals and as a team by working together to support this worthy cause. Without my team and the help of the community, I could not have pulled off such a great success! I am so grateful to everyone who showed their support.”

The Relay for Life Cancer Charity Walk at Mansfield High School took place Saturday, June 14. Participating teams raised more than $130,000 in total.
