The Norton Boys Soccer team will host Rockland this Saturday at 6:30 in a Division 3 first round matchup. Norton rolls into the playoffs after finishing the regular season with a record of 12-2-4.
Norton will be a tough draw for any opponent due to the offensive pressure they can apply and the stellar defense backing them up. The offense is led by Tri-Valley League leading scorer Matt Bukowski (16 goals), fellow striker Jon Lach (10 goals, seven assists), Kevin O'Leary (9 goals) and midfielder Wayne Belcher (10 goals, seven assists).
Matt Ericson, Noah Lach, Elliot Ariola and Jared Kahn were a solid defense grouping that led the team to nine shutouts, six by TVL All-Star goalie Joe Maia.
