We all know that the holidays are a busy and stressful time of year. Join us for a FREE Kripalu Yoga class led by Lisa Cohen! Learn basic Kripalu Yoga techniques while relaxing your mind and body.
Kripalu Yoga is the yoga of compassion, designed to develop non-judgmental self-awareness. A typical 60-minute Kripalu Yoga session begins with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Students should wear loose fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat or beach towel and bottled water. Additional yoga props will be provided, including yoga straps, blankets, and blocks.
