Vacation Week: Under the Ice at Lake T; A Winter Exploration

1417 Park St, Attleboro, MA | Get Directions »
$8.00

We'll hike and bring ponding gear out to Lake T to see what we can find. As we walk we'll talk about the turtles and frogs that live in and around Lake Talaquega and learn what specific species are doing to survive the winter. We'll break through the ice if necessary and dip our nets to scoop out some samples. We'll warm up by the woodstove after our hike with hot cocoa!

Instructions and Directions: Dress for weather, boots and proper outer clothing.

Registration is required.
